What is Paraffin?
Paraffin is essentially a wax-like petroleum derivative. In the textile industry, it is applied to the surface of the yarn to make it more slippery. This allows the yarn to pass through machines more easily, reducing breakage and fuzziness.

When is Paraffin Applied?
